Your Love Surrounds Me
Words and music by Larry Holder / Elton Smith · 2004
Key of Am · 108 BPM · 4/4 · Praise · Psalm 27:3
Verse 1
The foe encamps around me
Their darkened world surrounds me
Far throughout the land
Yet You're the faithful Giver
So able to deliver
By Your mighty hand
Chorus
Though battles rage all fear is gone
Though mountains fall Your love is strong
O Lord my Shield and Savior
You keep me safe from harm
Please hear me when I cry
You hear me when I cry
My Savior stay beside me
Renew my strength and guide me
Ever in Your care
I'm ever in Your care
Your love surrounds me
Through dark of night
Your love surrounds me
My guiding light
Your love surrounds me
I will not fear
Your love surrounds me
You're always near
Verse 2
Though mortal danger finds me
And evil seeks to bind me
Grace and peace I've found
Amid the daily trials
My soul is safe because
Your love is all around
Chorus
Though battles rage all fear is gone
Though mountains fall Your love is strong
O Lord my Shield and Savior
You keep me safe from harm
Please hear me when I cry
You hear me when I cry
My Savior stay beside me
Renew my strength and guide me
Ever in Your care
I'm ever in Your care
Your love surrounds me
Through dark of night
Your love surrounds me
My guiding light
Your love surrounds me
I will not fear
Your love surrounds me
You're always near
Repeat Verse 1
The foe encamps around me
Their darkened world surrounds me
Far throughout the land
Yet You're the faithful Giver
So able to deliver
By Your mighty hand
