verse 1
When I think of al lthe ways He has blessed me
There is no doubt the Lord is my Friend.
I rest upon His promise:
This grace I've known shall never end.
Verse 2
Thinking back, now, to the day that He saved me
There is joy I cannot explain.
His grace and mercy found me
And by His grace, I'm born again.
Verse 3
Now Jesus guides me through the darkness
And He guides me through the day.
I'll never fear I've been forsaken
For Jesus is with me each step I take.
Verse 4
When I think of all the joys of the journey
More precious now than silver or gold
I'm glad that I have chosen
The Way of Life, as time unfolds.
Verse 5
Then one day, the Lord will call me to heaven
There to be forever with Him.
All tears and pain forgotten;
His perfect peace will never end.
Verse 6
The stars above declare His glory
Far beyond what words express
And I am here to tell His story
Of mercy, deliv'rance, and holiness.
Ending
When I think of all the ways He has blessed me
There is no doubt the Lord is my Friend.
I rest upon His promise:
This grace I've known shall never end...
