Verse 1

From the beginning of time was a plan
That all who believe understand:
Salvation is ours as a gift, through God's only Son.
Leaving Your glory on high,
Coming to suffer and die,
Rising again from the grave, the battle You won!

Chorus

Saved by Your grace,
Freed by Your mercy.
Saved by Your grace,
Freed by Your mercy.
No more must I do,
No more can I say...
It is enough that You, my Lord,
Died in my place
Such mercy and grace!

Bridge

Now by Your Name I am known
Given a heavenly home
Resting secure in the grace that has freed me from sin.
Mercy, like rain from above
Showered upon me in love...
Now in Your mercy and grace, I'm rejoicing again...
Rejoicing again!

Verse 2

Bearing the burden of sin
And needing a heavenly Friend,
I learned of Your mercy and grace
In Your holy Word.
Life everlasting and free:
This is Your promise to me...
Words more amazing and true, I never have heard!
{c: Repeat chorus}
Saved by Your grace,
Freed by Your mercy.
Saved by Your grace,
Freed by Your mercy.
No more must I do,
No more can I say...
It is enough that You, my Lord,
Died in my place
Such mercy and grace!
